*F.L.O. Intel Report TRANSCRIPT*

Greetings Mu’s. This is your Captain speaking.

So sorry about going M.I.A. on you guys, but a lot has happened since the last report. I have to keep this transmission as short as possible though, so I can only fill you in on the major events leading up to our escape. Yes OUR escape. As in Tari’Ma, Commander Misty, the rest of the sub-troop, and myself.

We all joined forces at the heart of APE’KEK, and ventured to the D.U.A.T. together. We successfully completed our sub-mission of seeking counsel from the first Ushabti in the hopes that we could ensure the safe arrival of the package containing Assignment Two detail. Or should I say Assignment ONE detail.

Well, if you guys have been paying close attention to a few of our previous reports, then you may have noticed the switch up. That “error” was part of our strategy to throw off Razi Intel, who were tracking the package as well as our reports. That, in combination with the plan set in motion by Ushabt’Ma, led to a near successful delivery of the package containing Assignment One detail. It was a near success because as soon as the package entered M.W.G. sub T.P.3 orbit, the Razi’s surveillance probes still got a pretty good shot in that damaged the package’s exterior.

Thankfully, all contents inside were left undamaged, but part of the package split off from the main bulk. So half of the package managed to land successfully, while the other half continues to orbit. So, now that we’ve escaped our two main priorities are to 1) find the rest of the Tarians, and 2) figure out how to retrieve and deliver the second half of the package to the Mu’s before the Razi intercept it first. However YOUR mission remains the same.

Now that a portion of your Assignment One detail has been delivered, it’s time to assemble the Mu’s. And I’m sorry to say, you guys will be on your own for this one, at least for now. This will be our last report for a while because it’s way too dangerous to make these traceable transmissions while we’re still on the run. But I believe in you. WE believe in you. We’ll reach out to the Mu’s after the package is delivered, but until then, get started and standby.

Greetings Mu’s. This is Commander Misty speaking.

Status update 1. 

We finally learned what came to be of Tari.

We were able to catch the signal that the A.P.E.’s used to trace our last transmission, and we’ve been listening in on them too. It’s actually how we learned that Mission Control has been overrun. 

They’ve got our Captain. And Tari’Ma. Probably many more.  And word around APE’KEK is we’re next. But we will not abandon our mission. Onward we trek to the heart of the D.U.A.T. 

Status update 2. 

Package is still in transit ETA 78 Earth days. 

Status update 3. 

Where was I last time? Oh! Right. So after we disconnected Kek and Kauket’s shadows, the next step was to banish each back to the D.U.A.T. Now this is where things got a little… tricky. What we hadn’t anticipated was — “ 

Oh no, gotta go! A.P.E.’s are closing in and we gotta keep moving.

Greetings Mu’s! This is Zosar speaking, and I have some exciting news! 

It has come to our attention that a few birdies from the other side have decided to pay us lowly Earthlings a visit. How amusing.

And we’re sending over a welcoming party as we speak, where they will be officially invited to join us at the D.U.A.T. for a warm welcome indeed. And front row seats to the destruction of their beloved home! 

Wow today is truly turning out to be a splendid one indeed. We have your Captain. We’re about to capture your Commander. And oh! I almost forgot. We have your general too.

Tari’Ma? Is that what you guys call her. How cute. 

Believe it or not, soon she too will join our regime. Trust me on that, we’re working on it. 

Soon though. Very soon.

Greetings Mu’s. This is Commander Misty speaking.

Status update 1. Still no word back from Mission Control. We’re almost certain that the A.P.E.’s finally reached the land of Tari.

Our sub-mission is now of the utmost importance. Mu’s you must receive your Assignment Two detail as you all might now be the only chance of saving your world… and now ours too.

Package is still in route ETA 92 Earth days.

Status update 3.

I have time to share only the first part of our battle with darkness so listen closely.

Remember how we thought we uncovered the key to defeating both Kek and Kauket at the 8th and 9th Pillars? Well, we were wrong. Well, sorta. Let’s back up a bit though.

I believe the last you guys heard is that we had Kauket pinned in between us and the 8th Pillar threshold thanks to a ra’za lantern. And our plan was to somehow separate Kek and Kauket to weaken them both, so that we could banish their shadows back to the D.U.A.T.

Our attempt to separate them was actually successful. Niki, of course, came up with the brilliant idea of dosing them with a taste of their own medicine by suffocating them with light. 

We deployed a total of 30 ra’za lanterns in the pathway between the 8th and 9th pillars so that they would have no way of reaching each other physically, and even prevented them from communicating with their own C.W. frequencies as well.

They were literally cut off from each other, and even with miles of rock between us and them we could hear their screeches of anguish from the suffocating light and the cosmic disconnect.

Oh no! The A.P.E’s are listening in.

Yo it’s already going. You’re transmitting now— 

Oh! ooops. Greetings Mu’s! This is Commander Misty speaking. I know not at all who you were expecting, but we fear something dire has happened at Mission Control.

They’ve been unresponsive for quite a while now, so we haven’t been able to share the news. 

We have successfully crossed the 8th Pillar, and continue our trek to the D.U.A.T. We have quite the journey ahead, but we figured it would be wise to report our progress to the Mu’s while Mission Control remains M.I.A.

And I’ll save the details of our escape for the next report. Now that we’re on House of Geb soil we must keep these transmissions short because the A.P.E.’s can trace them.

Oh! And one more thing. Before we departed for the sub-mission, Captain gave us access to your Assignment Two progress in transit. 

Package is still in route ETA 99 Earth days.

Greeting’s Mu’s. This is Zosar speaking. Chief A.P.E. if you haven’t figured it out already. 

I’d like to inform you that your Captain has… stepped down from her role as second in command of Tari’s Mutiny in Unity Militia, and has instead re-joined our mission dedicated to… let’s just say a much different cause. Permanently this time. 

And pretty soon, all of you will follow suit. Whether you want to or not. 

In the meantime, you will receive regular status updates from ME. Your new Captain.

We arrived at the D.U.A.T. a few hours ago; Our travels expedited thanks to a pricey time splice that the A.P.E.’s saved especially for me. 

Speaking of A.P.E.’s this place is crawling with them. They’ve wasted no time getting me prepped for re-upload, but there are still a few protocols to complete before they begin. My window of time is closing fast though. 

I’ve gotta get out of here. If only I could get into contact with Commander Misty and her sub-troop. They should be on their way here now as long as they’re not still tied up with Kauket. 

I bet they have no clue that I’ve even been captured, let alone a plan for my escape. And Tari’Ma. The troops. Our people. I fear I have led the Tarians to complete failure. And a death sentence.

This is your Captain. And I don’t have much time before the A.P.E.’s detect this transmission. 

Mu’s, I hope you’re hearing this because you may be our last hope. Or at least mine. 

The A.P.E.’s have overrun Mission Control. And I have no idea what kind of shape the rest of Tari is in after our last stand, nor do I have any idea of what came of Tari’Ma, Commander Misty, the rest of the troops. 

Oh yeah, and they’re taking me away. Rather, they’re bringing me back. To the D.U.A.T. for re-upload.
